Homework: Daily Bar Charts Gaps with Moving Averages 15, 30, 60, and 100. We feel the moving averages are giving a possible short-term sell signal. Are they converging, diverging, acting as resistance or support? Patterns in charts, a head and shoulders reversal is forming, we just need to see the formation of the last shoulder. Remember, head and shoulder reversals can fail. Trend lines resistance and support, what would you be doing, buying puts, calls, or straddles? What is your strike price? What would you be doing with the underlying? What is your target price? What are your maximum risks, i.e. losses? Always take advice from your broker!

VIX on the CBOE. AIR BUS AE on the Paris stock Exchange. We are not recommending you buy or sell any of these instruments. What we are doing is asking you to do research and technical analysis and paper trade (Pretend Trading) using American Traded Options, Puts, Calls or Straddles or the underlying short or long to learn about trading financial markets. What is your position? Do you feel we are going into a bear period or will we be in a bull market? What are your time scales, day trader, one week, one month, a year or five years? Where will these stocks, commodities, and FX be in three months? Remember, some stock brokers recommend holding a stock for five years to see a profit if you are long stocks. Dangerous if you’re trading futures or FX. I would also like your opinion on Government Bonds and the Bonds on the stocks I have mentioned above not only yield holding to the end of the life of the bond allowing for inflation credit rating but trading price like any other financial instrument it is important to talk to a good bond broker and know your risk but I suggest you paper trade until you get a large part of your trades correct.
Look into and research how tax-efficient Pensions are, the various different types of Pensions different risks you accept and a Global Sipp as a Pension. With Sipp’s, you have to understand the risk and see if there are any tax benefits, also what age you can draw down a percentage of your pension and what percentage. Buyer beware is the old saying in the finance sector. Lots of talk of Labour taxing pensions. It is important to find out what happens to your pension when you die, and if it’s an asset, can you can leave it to somebody in a will. It would be interesting to do a study if you invest in a pension from the age of twenty to retirement, would your money be better off invested personally in stock, bond etc or a managed pension or tracker fund? What happens to the excess in your pension should you die, compared to personal investment in the stock market growth and passive income? Remember, Investments go up or down, and with some investments, you can lose more than your initial investment. Ask your financial adviser what happens to your pension should you live longer than your pension pot i.e. the money paid in a pension compared to the money invested. There is normally a cooling-off period if you’re sold a pension. it is important to read the terms and conditions.
Why not put some of your pocket money into UK Premium Bonds or at least do some homework on them compared to the National Lottery. It could be a lot more rewarding than buying sweets.
Hargreaves Lansdown is worth looking into, but as stated, the only thing guaranteed in life is death and taxes. They are brokers for products other than equities, but like all things, you should shop around, look at credit ratings and take professional advice. This is not a paid advertisement. You should find a stockbroker or bond broker who believes in know your client, not only your investments, but also about your family goals in life, who shows some personal interest in things like career and hobbies. With investment broking, it’s best to consider adopting the three-box system and rotating your clients who you place into the investments alternately; it’s a fairer way to handle investments. It is a little out of date, as these days investment houses expect you to call them and need permission for the investment house representative to call you.
