I have studied Buddhism, and there are some great things about it to learn, but I choose to be a Christian. I have come to the conclusion after all my studying to find enlightenment, that you come to the understanding that life is about Kindness. That does not mean give away all your possessions and become homeless, or live in a hermitage or ordain. Some very successful people are Buddhist, as well as every other religion. if you thought that if everybody understood reincarnation and Buddhism, there would be no wars, explain the Japanese and the Second World War and their brutality. Don’t get me wrong, I have met some very nice Japanese people. It is tradition that you only teach Buddhism if the person enquires about it other wise you keep it to yourself.
