I put it to you that when politicians give themselves a pay rise its not the same as most people going on about percentages because of the vast amount of money they get as a salary, the salary gives them more money as payrise per percentage, and also the perk of being given a house or flat in London. While some of the starting salaries in the services is approximatly 27K, our servicemen and women are not paid enough.
